Overview of the Requirement
A leading industrial project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia is urgently seeking experienced Safety Officers and WPR Supervisors to join a 6-month project. These positions are critical to maintaining workplace safety, overseeing operational compliance, and ensuring that industrial activities follow strict safety and quality standards. Candidates must have a proven track record in the Sabic industrial environment and be ready for immediate mobilization.
Roles and Responsibilities
Safety Officers will monitor and enforce safety regulations on site, conduct regular audits, provide guidance to workers, and ensure compliance with local and company safety standards. They are responsible for identifying hazards, implementing preventive measures, and coordinating with supervisors to maintain a safe work environment.
WPR Supervisors will oversee work permit systems, ensure proper procedures are followed for all site activities, and coordinate with technical and safety teams to manage workflow. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, reporting incidents, and ensuring that all permits and approvals are in place before work begins.
Both roles require vigilance, strong leadership, and the ability to manage safety and operational protocols in industrial environments effectively.
Skills, Experience, and Requirements
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in Sabic operations. Strong knowledge of industrial safety, work permit systems, and regulatory compliance is mandatory. Physical fitness, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are essential. Applicants must possess valid Absher Iqama, Iqama under the correct profession (Safety Officer / Supervisor), passport, Muqeem in English, medical certificate, and a service agreement with the chamber. Previous experience in large-scale industrial projects is highly preferred.
