Abacus KSA is urgently seeking experienced HSE Safety Officers for deployment in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. This role is specifically for Aramco-approved professionals with a minimum of five years of experience in Aramco projects. Safety Officers are essential to ensuring a secure and compliant work environment by monitoring daily operations, enforcing occupational health and safety standards, and supporting overall project efficiency. Roles and Responsibilities
The HSE Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring and controlling safety practices across the site. Key duties include performing regular inspections, identifying potential hazards, and implementing corrective measures to prevent accidents. Officers will also review work procedures, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and ensure compliance with Aramco regulations. Accurate reporting, safety audits, and participation in safety meetings are integral to the role. The officer must be proactive in promoting safety awareness among workers and ensure all tasks are completed with strict adherence to guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications
Candidates must have at least five years of experience working on Aramco projects and hold valid Aramco HSE approval. Prior experience in industrial, construction, or oil & gas environments is preferred. Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures is essential. Excellent communication and leadership skills are required to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and enforce compliance. Candidates must be disciplined, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a high-pressure environment. Immediate availability is highly desirable due to project urgency.
