Fire Watch personnel monitor high-risk areas during hot work activities such as welding, cutting, or grinding, preventing potential fire hazards and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Pipe Fitters and Pipe Fabricators are responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems and industrial vessels, contributing directly to structural integrity and project timelines.
In large-scale industrial facilities like Shaybah, these roles are crucial for maintaining workplace safety, minimizing project delays, and ensuring smooth coordination across teams. Skilled personnel in these trades not only support operational efficiency but also enforce industry-standard safety and quality requirements, reducing the risk of accidents and project interruptions.
Key Responsibilities
Fire Watch: Monitor designated work areas during hot work operations, ensure firefighting equipment is accessible and functional, and alert teams of potential fire hazards. They coordinate with supervisors and safety officers, document observations, and maintain compliance with emergency protocols.
Pipe Fitter: Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping systems according to technical drawings and project specifications. They inspect installed pipelines for quality, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with engineers and site supervisors to maintain workflow efficiency.
Pipe Fabricator: Fabricate piping components, structural assemblies, and vessels. This involves cutting, welding, shaping, and assembling metal components to meet design and safety standards. Fabricators also ensure proper documentation and adherence to project quality requirements.
All personnel are expected to work collaboratively, maintain detailed documentation of activities, and uphold safety and quality standards throughout project execution.
Skills and Knowledge
