Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring HSE policies in accordance with Petro Kemya and SABIC E&PM standards. Duties include conducting site inspections, identifying hazards, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and promoting a strong safety culture among workers. The role also involves preparing safety reports, coordinating toolbox talks, supporting incident investigations, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively. Continuous monitoring of site activities to prevent accidents is a core responsibility.

Skills, Experience, and Approvals

Candidates must hold valid Petro Kemya and SABIC E&PM approvals as a Safety Officer. Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems is essential. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work confidently with site management and workers. Previous experience on large industrial or petrochemical projects in Saudi Arabia is highly preferred.
